PromoShop Update
Hola from your friends and partners at PromoShop,
We hope you and your families are doing well and staying healthy. As we continue to live and learn in today’s world, we want to continue to openly communicate and share with you what we are seeing, what we are doing about it, and what your expectations of us should be!
Beginning with your expectations of us:
We will always work with full transparency on behalf of you, our client partners! Our business has increased back to almost pre-pandemic levels, and as a result, we have re-hired almost all teammates with whom we parted ways along the way when the pandemic was wreaking havoc on our business! It has truly been overwhelming to have these individuals back and excited to be here!
As we continue to live with pandemic related health related risks, we have empowered our staff to work from wherever they see fit! As long as they have secure Wi-Fi and an office set-up, they may work remotely. Our commitment remains to service our clients at the highest possible levels. Our goal is to continue nurturing both our valued clients and team members via a culture of caring, self-accountability and teamwork. If you have any successful case studies you want to share with us, please do.
Our supply chain:
We are still in the midst of uncertainty and disruption when it comes to our supply chain. Both manufacturing and logistics challenges continue to occur due to a multitude of factors including Covid-19 related closures and delays, lack of available workforce, shortages of shipping containers and shipping vessels, weather related delays and more.
Not only have goods become more expensive to manufacture and transport, it has become more challenging to execute and deliver product timely and receive the quantities ordered. We are diligent and focused on working with experts that understand the current conditions who can keep us informed of changes as they happen. Yes, shipping costs are 4 to 6 times more expensive than they were pre-pandemic, and even at these dramatically higher rates, there are few guarantees of timely delivery. Even when we are able to have product transported, the last leg of getting this product in your hands remains an iffy proposal with not much in the way of assurances and lots of “hoping!” Please know that even with all of these challenges, we are here for you and working as diligently as possible to ensure that we do the best that we can to deliver the product you ordered and have it arrive when you need it.
With the shipping market so volatile, we are obtaining daily rate commitments and making our commitments to you based on this information and pricing. Unfortunately, with each passing day we are seeing large increases and more delays. We promise that we will continue to communicate with you and pass on any savings or increases as they happen. Our goal is to have “NO SUPRISES!” Please let us know if our frequency of communication is not meeting your satisfaction, as we try to update all clients affected as soon as we are aware!
Lastly, we are grateful for your continual support and understanding. Please let us know how we may help you, and also let us know what we can do to better the services that we are providing.
Stay healthy and thank you for your partnership.
Best regards,
Memo Kahan
President
