Case Study: "Return of the Mac" & "Hollywood Darlings"

THE CHALLENGE 

POPtv wanted to promote the launch of two new series “Return of the Mac” and “Hollywood Darlings” with a kit that could both be mailed to media outlets and on site tv show promotions for the launch. 

THE SOLUTION 

Since both of these shows feature the return of stars from the late 80s and early 90s, we thought a retro lunch box would be a fun solution. Inside the kit were 4 custom candies: Jodie “Sweeten Tarts”, Lakin “Lemon Drops”, Mitchell “Milk Chocolate” and of course Joey “Mac”adamia nuts. The kit also included a custom molded POPtv USB, and a romance card with information on the series. 

THE RESULTS The kit was a huge hit! The fun kit was distributed on location in Chicago, NYC and Miami with Joey McIntyre and the ladies, as well as shipped to 200 media outlets.
