Case Study: World of Tanks Mailer

Client: Wargaming, Inc.

THE CHALLENGE 

Wargaming America wanted to put together a press kit to give to their Media Contacts during the Press Meetings for the rollout of the addition of the Japanese Tank to the World of Tanks video game. The video game is period specific, so the addition of this new Tank to the game was very exciting. It was important to the client that whatever was given in the press kit was was relevant to the Japanese Culture to reflect the recently added tank. 

THE SOLUTION 

PromoShop was able to source a ceramic Sake Set, with two cups and Sake decanter, to pair with the customer supplied bottle of Sake. We also sourced a “Samurai Sword” USB drive, and had the manufacturers tie a red “Sash” to them, to add to the authenticity of the sword. 

THE RESULTS 

The project was extremely well received by the media and generated a great deal of buzz.
